Howling Hampstead IPA:

Lashings of New World hops on a malty foundation

The New World of hops isn’t restricted to American varieties. For this powerful IPA we’ve headed to the Antipodes and sourced the best Australian and New Zealand aroma hops. The final stage of hop addition, called dry-hopping, gives this IPA an additional hoppy punch, mainly on the aroma side of things, so this beer isn’t too bitter. This style of hopping gives the beer a real lift. If you’re careful you’ll pick up notes of grapefruit and mango, perhaps passion fruit. To carry these flavours the beer has a solid malty foundation.

Food pairing:

More aromatic curries, deep fried camembert, key lime pie
