A touch of rye, a relative of barley and wheat, adds an extra component to this wheat beer. Rye adds some extra colour and its more spicy nature goes well with the flavours we expect in a good wheat beer: bananas and cloves. As usual, there is still a high proportion of wheat in our recipe, which always makes for excellent foam when this beer is poured.
