Yorkshire Dales IPA:

Solid hop bitterness, herbs and spice aromas

India Pale Ale was invented almost by accident when English exporters of beer to India and other far flung outposts realised that higher levels of alcohol and the greater addition of hops (a natural preservative) allowed beer to travel great distances and still be palatable after the journey. This particular recipe, however, always stayed at home. The best English hops are used, giving spicy and herbal aromas, backed up by a strong base of pale and well kilned darker malts.

Food pairing:

Strong cheeses with pickles, samosas, curried fish
