This is a straw-coloured beer, inspired by the classic German Weisbier (meaning white beer). The special top-fermenting yeast makes banana-like and spicy flavours that make this beer particularly refreshing. Only a small addition of hops is made, so this beer is not at all bitter. At least 50% of the recipe is wheat, which also helps produce the hazy appearance enjoyed by wheat beer drinkers all over the world.
