The most sophisticated Pale Ale. Malt flavours: digestive biscuit, caramel, lightly browned toast provide the base for a higher rate of hop addition giving a clear spicy/fruity aroma with hints of marmalade. There is plenty of body here, with some more complex malt sugars remaining after the fermentation is complete. The resultant mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. Higher alcohol provides the “carrier” for these more complex flavours so that the whole beery package remains well balanced.
