Piccadilly Pale:

Golden ale with hints of caramel and toffee

An English classic. The use of a small proportion of “crystal” malt provides notes of toffee and caramel which seem to sweeten the beer and make it feel very smooth in the mouth. There are hops here too, but they don’t predominate: rather there is a fruity background to this beer that’s in balance with those sweeter flavours. Bitterness is clearly present, but just enough to give the beer a slight bite to ensure the sweetness does not become cloying.

Food pairing:

Chicken wings, salted fries
