English brewmasters have perfected the Pale Ale style of beer over the centuries. In more modern times, lighter versions, such as Blonde Ale, have come to the fore. The best English malt and hops are used in this ale, which is refreshing, light and balanced, the perfect beer for a lunchtime or for the first beer of an evening, to help quench the thirst. The colour is a very light gold. There is a hint of a hoppy aroma, and a light biscuit character in the flavour, coming from the lightly kilned malts.
